Olivier Renault’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, private equity and all aspects of corporate law and corporate finance.

He has practiced since 1998, successively within the Corporate / M&A departments of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton for seven years and then with Clifford Chance.

He practiced for seven years within the Litigation/Arbitration team of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton in Paris, where he acquired wide experience in handling complex litigation for French and foreign clients.

He represents clients in cases involving business, finance and corporate law, in particular. He has also developed a wide expertise in handling disputes between shareholders. These cases are often multi-jurisdictional and can involve both civil and criminal procedures.

Maxime Vignaud has developed a transversal practice in the areas of business law, acting more particularly in the fields of corporate law, contract law, distribution law, commercial leases and intellectual property.

Maxime Vignaud’s practice focuses on commercial and intellectual property law matters (in amicable or litigious environments).

He practiced for more than six years with SCP Philippe Clément (formerly Clément, Vivien et associés) in Paris, where he developed a transversal approach to business law.

He has furthermore developed an in-depth experience in the luxury products industry, by advising renowned fashion houses, designers and artistic directors. He also regularly assists retail groups, for which his daily counsel on distribution agreements, intellectual property (in particular trademark protection and infringement actions), commercial real estate and commercial leases allow him to provide operations-oriented responses to their fundamental concerns.

Jason Reeve

Jason Reeve’s practice focuses on corporate restructuring and insolvency procedures. He also advises on mergers and acquisitions, corporate law and commercial law.

He started his career at Coudert Frères in China, where he advised French groups on starting to do business in China. He then practiced in the Corporate and M&A departments of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, primarily in the field of acquisition and debt restructuring transactions for listed and non-listed companies, before joining Poulain & Partners, where he gained acknowledged expertise in corporate restructuring and insolvency procedures.

His experience at major firms and of diverse cultures means that he can advise on cases with different levels of variety and complexity. His dual education also enables him to focus on the economic and financial approach and to offer solutions adapted to clients’ strategies and constraints.

Through his practice in the field of corporate restructurings, he has become specialized in cases involving industrial clients, on behalf of shareholders, corporate officers and buyers, both French and non-French.
